Dis-Chem Pharmacies is offering an exciting Learnership opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare and looking to start a career in a pharmacy environment. This Dispensary Support Learnership is a structured program that combines theoretical learning with practical, on-the-job experience within a busy Dis-Chem dispensary. The successful candidate will work towards obtaining a nationally recognised qualification while gaining invaluable skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Assistant with daily dispensary operations
• Learn to handle and manage prescription paperwork accurately
• Provide support in stock control, including unpacking, packing, and rotating medicine

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate
• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be between 18 and 35 years old
• Strong interest in healthcare and helping people
• Good numerical and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and another official South African language
• No criminal record
• Not currently employed or enrolled in other studies or a learnership
